Taglio Studios Return & Refund Policy

At Taglio Studios, we take immense pride in the artistry and craftsmanship of our hand-crafted glass sculptures. Because our pieces range from memorial items to unique studio creations, we have established specific guidelines for each product category.

1. Crystal Remembrance Products

Due to the deeply personal and sensitive nature of Crystal Remembrance pieces, we do not accept returns or exchanges on these items. Once production has begun on a memorial piece involving remains or specific personal glass, the order cannot be canceled, and the final product is non-refundable. We encourage customers to review all design specifications and details carefully before finalizing their order.

2. Custom & Commissioned Sculptures

For sculptures created to a customer’s specific requests (e.g., custom colors, specific dimensions, or unique designs not found in our standard catalog), all sales are final.

  • Work begins only after the design and specifications have been approved by the client.

  • Once production has started, we cannot accept cancellations, returns, or exchanges for these bespoke items.

3. Hand-Made Studio Sculptures (Non-Custom)

These are original pieces designed and created by Taglio Studios for our general collection or gallery that were not made to a specific customer's order.

  • Return Window: You have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return.

  • Condition: Items must be returned in their original, pristine condition and in the original packaging.

  • Restocking Fee: Returns on these items are subject to a 15% restocking fee to cover the delicate handling, inspection, and administrative costs associated with high-end glass art.

  • Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs and must ensure the package is fully insured for the total value of the piece. Taglio Studios is not responsible for items damaged or lost during return transit.

4. Damages During Transit

We take extraordinary care in packaging our sculptures to ensure they arrive safely. However, if your piece arrives damaged:

  • Report Immediately: You must notify us at [Insert Email Address] within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Documentation: Please provide clear photos of the damaged sculpture, the shipping box, and the packaging materials.

  • Resolution: We will work with the carrier to file an insurance claim and will prioritize the creation of a replacement piece or issue a full refund at no additional cost to you.

5. Natural Variations in Hand-Crafted Glass

Please note that because our glass is hand-blown and hand-crafted, slight variations in color, texture, and small air bubbles (seeds) are inherent to the artisanal process. These are not considered defects but rather the unique characteristics of a hand-made piece of art. Returns will not be accepted based on these natural characteristics.

6. How to Initiate a Return

To begin a return for an eligible studio sculpture or to report a damaged shipment:

  2. Wait for a Return Authorization (RA) number and specific shipping instructions.

  3. Do not ship items back without an RA number, as they will not be accepted.
